We provide an important contribution to solving complex socio-technical issues, such as the energy transition, health, mobility, digitalization, water management and (cyber)security. We pioneer new resilience-based methods and tools that make use of the unique opportunities of novel technologies and data so that we can adapt to changing situations, and organize our societies for the future. We combine insights from both engineering and social sciences as well as humanities. TPM develops robust models and designs, is internationally oriented and has an extensive network of knowledge institutions, companies, social organisations and governments.
