On 28/01/2025 , the AI4Deliberation project played an active role in advancing the conversation around ethics in artificial intelligence during a workshop organized by the Ethics and Deontology Committee of the University of Macedonia.
During the workshop, Professor Efthimios Tambouris delivered a highly insightful presentation titled, “Managing Ethical Issues in Complex Research: A Case Study”. In his talk, Prof. Tambouris used the AI4Deliberation project as a case study to demonstrate how complex ethical challenges in research can be addressed. By focusing on the methodologies and strategies implemented by researchers, he showcased practical examples of how ethical considerations can be managed effectively throughout the research process.
This event marked another significant contribution from AI4Deliberation in the ongoing dialogue on ethical and deontological challenges in artificial intelligence. The project continues to serve as a best-practice example, offering valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field.
